How it works
Lunch, introductions and useful conversations
Boston Business Collective meets every other week, over lunch. It is relaxed, well organised and designed so you leave knowing a few more people in Boston than when you arrived.
What happens at a meeting
Every meeting follows the same easy rhythm. It runs for roughly 90 minutes to 2 hours, at lunchtime. [MEETING TIME]
Open networking. Arrive, grab some lunch and chat. New faces are always introduced.
Member introductions. Everyone says who they are, what they do and who would be a useful person to meet.
Member spotlight. One member takes a few minutes to tell the story of their business.
Business asks. Members share specific requests, such as an introduction or advice, and others offer help.
Open conversation. Time to follow up with the people you want to talk to.
Around the meetings
Mastermind sessions. Now and then we put a member's business challenge on the table and work through it together.
Social and community events. Optional get-togethers, because people do better business with people they enjoy spending time with.
Your buddy. Visitors can be paired with a member who will say hello, introduce you around and answer questions.
No targets. No scoreboards. No pressure.
We don't set referral quotas or track who is giving what. Introductions happen because people trust each other, and that takes time.
