If you have never been to a business networking meeting before, it is normal to wonder what you are walking into. This guide explains what to expect when you visit a Boston Business Collective lunchtime meeting in Boston, Lincolnshire, so you can decide whether it is right for you.

When and where we meet

We meet on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm at the Business Hub, Unit 1A, First Floor, Cowbridge Business Park, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE22 7DJ. Two Wednesdays each month are structured core meetings, and the other Wednesdays are optional networking sessions. You can see the next dates on our upcoming meetings page.

What happens at a meeting

Our core meetings combine open networking, business introductions, member spotlights, useful discussions and the chance to ask for introductions or support. The optional Wednesday sessions are more informal, giving people time to catch up, collaborate and get to know each other.

We keep things structured enough to be useful without feeling rigid or formal.

Will I be put on the spot?

No. There are no referral targets, no public scoreboards and no pressure to pitch or sell. The best introductions come from people who actually know each other, so the aim is to build relationships at your own pace. We also aim to pair first-time visitors with a friendly member who can make introductions and help you feel comfortable.

What does it cost to visit?

A visitor place costs £15 plus VAT (£18 in total) per meeting. There is no obligation to join afterwards. You can book through our visit page.

How is this different from other networking groups?

Many groups ask members to hit referral quotas or perform in front of the room. Boston Business Collective is built around relationships first, with referrals following naturally. We also take a flexible approach to business categories, aiming to avoid direct competition while discussing any overlap with existing members rather than applying rigid rules.

Is it right for me?
